DCSflow is fully automated and runs as
a part of your Delta station.
Firstly you should install it in your Delta directory.
The Delta Rip is then shutdown and the software protection
Dongle is attached to the back of the Delta Dongle and
the system re-started.
DCSflow can now be started from the Start
menu under Programs for the initial setup.
Check one of the options
"Screen Preview" or
"Print Preview"
to select the form of the output file if you want to
print it out or examine in one of your desktop applications.
If the
"Trapping" checkbox is enabled the resulting file will include Delta Trapping
information.
Use the
"Naming" box to define how your output files will be named. You can select from
either PostScript
file name or the job title.
"Language Level" option allows to set different compression schemes. When you use
PostScript Level 2
data is LZW compressed and high resolution data is RLE compressed.
"Resolution Ratio" defines the output file resolution.
Then
DCSflow is configured as part of
a Delta Export Queue. It runs in a completely automated
fashion.
You can change
DCSflow initial settings fot a single job, if
you use Lucid's Job Ticketing mechanism.
DCSflow uses JT in the plain text format.
You can use any text editor (e.g. Notepad) to edit the default JT that is included with the installer.
Then you can combine this JT with a ceratin job and pass it to
DCSflow.
